Music Center Plaza Renovation
Music Center Plaza in DTLA is undergoing a $40 million transformation, lead by client Architect Rios Clementi Hale Studios. The team also includes Cumming Project Management, GC Matt Construction, Troyer Contracting and Letner Roofing This is the first major renovation since its opening in 1964 and D 7 Consulting is providing complete Building Envelope Consulting Services. The project will double its original capacity, including relocating the statue, fountain renovation, eliminating stairs, as well as the addition of new restaurants & a garden area. Completion is set for Spring 2019. The Music Center is one of the largest performing arts centers in the U.S. with 1.3 million annual visitors and is home to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Ahmanson Theater, Mark Tapor Forum, & Walt Disney Concert Hall. The Walt Disney Concert Hall was also D 7 Consulting project.
