University of California, Irvine Medical Center
The UCI Medical Center Douglas Hospital was designed by HOK Architects. It opened in 2009 and includes a 7-story building with 191 spacious patient rooms and 15 state-of-the-art operating rooms. It is a top, national medical research school and is Orange County’s only teaching hospital. Specialty services include trauma care, a stroke center and a cancer center.
