East County Detention Center
Currently under construction, the East County Detention Center will be a 500,000 SF, 1,626 bed facility that will replace the existing Riverside County jail. It will consist of two buildings. One will be a 3-story building for inmate transferring, a medical clinic and food services. The second adjoining 4-story building will have two inmate housing units with mezzanine levels. Completion is targeted for 2018.
